Question :      I have several gallstones in thin walled gallbladder, have pain right side under ribs and shoulder, what is the best thing to do

                                    Brief Answer:
It's better to go for Surgery.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Pain in the right upper part of the abdomen could be due to the Gallstones.
It's better to go for Surgery. Gallstones cannot be dissolved like kidney stones. Whole gallbladder has to be removed by Surgery.
I prefer to remove the Gallbladder by Laparoscopic method. Duration of stay in the hospital is less and routine daily work can be started soon.
Nothing to worry.
Please consult a Surgical Gastroenterologist , get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
