Brief Answer:
Gallstones can be the reason.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
The most common reason of abdominal pain located in the upper right abdomen are gallstones. The pain can radiate to the back. Nausea or lack of appetite can appear. The pain is usually triggered by fatty foods.
I suggest you to consult your doctor. Abdominal ultrasound should be done to diagnose this condition.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
