Question : I had prostate cancer & was treated with radiation. Since then my penis retreats into the foreskin and causes difficulties urinating such as urinating on the floor instead of the toilet & going often. what causes this to happen, and what can be done about it? this is a very embarrassing situation.

Brief Answer:
Could be due to R Post Radiation Urethral Stenosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Spraying of urinary stream after radiation for cancer of prostate is commoly due to obstrected urine flow resulting from post radiation urethral stenosis specifically in prostatic part of urethra .

If you are able to retract foreskin completely over glans penis may try retracting foreskin before urinating .This will help to have urine stream straight passage .

Consult qualified Urologist for endoscopic examination of urethral passage .He may do endoscopic dilatation of stenosed segment of urethra .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
