Question : I had a colonoscopy yesterday and now I have the constant pain full urge to urinate even though my bladder is empty.
Brief Answer:
Urinary tract infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Your symptoms clearly indicate urinary tract infection. It may be associated with recent colonoscopy. Please note that loose stools can cause urinary tract infection. And before colonoscopy intestines should be cleaned. Such cleaning results with lots of liquids stools. This might be the factor of the infection.
I suggest you to have urine analysis done. Antibiotic might be necessary. You should also increase mineral water intake and start cranberries supplementation.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
