Brief Answer:
Need to evaluate .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have incontinence of urine since last 6 months .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you diabetic?
2) Do you pass urine in between episodes of incontinence
or you are leaking urine continuously?
3) Do you have other urinary symptoms like burning ,urgency etc?
4) Does your bladder gets distended ?

Incontinence that you have is mostly due to weakness of pelvic floor muscles and sphincter of urethra which is common in elderly females and is a part of aging process .However I would suggest you to consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get your endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy ) done to rule out any other cause for your symptoms .

I would suggest to put Supra Pubic Catheter to drain the bladder continuously .This will prevent soiling and changing of inner wares frequently and help to improve quality of life .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
You seem to have Stress Incontinence of Urine

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The continence of urine that you have is likely to be due to pelvic floor muscle weakness and laxity of urethral sphincter .In view of your age(84) the results of surgery will not be encouraging hence unfortunately you have to carry on with using diapers or to put Supra Pubic Catheter as advised earlier .

Take the decision after discussing with your treating Physician and other family members.

Thanks and Regards.
