Question : I keep getting uti after intercourse and masturbation. What can I do to keep this from happening?

I understand your concern and situation.

It has been seen that men can develop urinary tract infections from sex. I would suggest you to thoroughly clean the genitals before and after sex. Wearing a condom can also help you reduce the risk of getting a UTI from sex. Drink plenty of water and fluids daily. Keep your genitals clean and wash with mild soap water 4-5 times per day. Do not use any chemical agents. I would also suggest you to take urine test for 3 consecutive days. Remember sample must be collected in sterile condition and first early morning urine sample must be collected. Get urinalysis, culture and sensitivity for bacterial infection done. Follow up with reports.
