Need proper evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I would like to know a few more details- your menstrual history-past and recent, any history of infections recently, any post coital bleeding if you are sexually active, any hormone usage and any medications likely to affect the menstrual rhythm.
The origin of the bleeding can be known through clinical evaluation, followed a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram and hormone profile. Further management can be planned accordingly.
Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.
regards,
Shanti.V.

Please get a clinical evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a proper clinical evaluation by a specialist. Since you are having recurrent vaginal infection, you need to be investigated further. A pap smear, swabs from the cervix and the vagina and urinalysis are needed.
Erosion of the cervix, infections and polyps are the usual local causes possible for the abnormal bleeding pattern observed. Also, post coital bleeding is another factor that needs to be excluded as you complain of painful intercourse at times.
The bleeding can be arrested with styptics and if needed, hormones. Any infection should be dealt with promptly. Your sexual partner also should be examined and treated if necessary.
Hope this helps. Please contact if you need any more information.
