Question : I had an hsg done on day 8 and everything was clear (thank god!) I had no bleedin in the days following the hsg. then I got a positive ovulation test on day 9 (super early for me). Then on day 15 I started bleeding. It was lighter than my period but still pretty red....lasted for about 3.5 days and turned dark brown at the end. My cycles are always between 27-31 days so a 15 day cycle is unheard of in my life. Could this be implantation even though it was reddish, a bit heavier than spotting, and lasted a few days? I am soooo confused and need your help!

                                    Brief Answer:
Endometrial shedding leads to bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about bleeding on 15th day.
Bleeding is likely to be due to HSG procedure. HSG procedure causes some endometrial injury and scratching. This endometrial shedding leads to early bleeding on day 15 and hence not period.
You will get another period in next 15 to 20 days which will be your regular period. this is not implantation bleeding.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

My doctor didnt tell me it could cause this type of injury. Is it something i should worry about? Also, why would it not show itself until a week after the procedure?

Not to worry about
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is common to see such bleeding and is nothing to worry about as it will reduce be itself. This is not a problem.
Small remaining endometrial toddles sometime come out like this.
