What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Having I Pill?

Question: I and my gf had sex On 2nd april. We used protection but after having sex i saw that condom was leaked. Then in 20 minutes i gave her ipill. After 5-6 days my gf had some pain and little bleeding. Pain and bleeding is going regularly from 8 days. No other thing is happening only pain and little bleeding. Pain and little bleeding happens one time in a day. She has periods normally on 25 or 26 of every month. Please doctor help us. Why this thing is happening.

The bleeding can be due to a side effect of I-pill because it contains high dodoses of hormone in it( so it may cause hormonal imbalance).

Usually bleeding will be resolved in 2-3 days.

As in her case it is persistent for last 8 days, you should consult a Gynecologist and get her ultrasound scan done to rule out the cause( to be safer side).

She is not pregrant. But bleeding is going on. Bleeding comes for 2-3 hours in a day. Is bleeding a problem for her. She is not going to doctor for checkup. Is that this bleeding will continue till her next periods. She normally has periods around 25-26 of every month. Should we wait for periods to come? It can be that this bleeding canstop after periods? Is this a serious problem? She is having pain also. This is happening from 10 days.

This bleeding is a side effect of I-pill but usually bleeding is stop in 3-5 days.

As she had prolonged bleeding along with pain, she should consult a Gynecologist and get herself examined to rule out the cause.

I-pill causes hormonal imbalance due to high doses of hormone in it.

As you said she is not pregnant but ectopic is also rule out in her case.

Yes, bleeding may continue till her period date.
