Question: Hi. I took diane 35 pills but only for four days then i stopped coz i couldnt tolerate my nausea. 7 days after, i experienced bleeding like i was having my menstruation. I just had my menstruation 23rd of april, took diane35 during my first menstrual day, stopped taking 4 days after. 7 days later, i had these bleeding. my ovulation day was 6th of may, but still i had these bleeding. i had unprotected sexual intercouse with my partner on the 6th of may. because technically, it was my ovulation day, i took nordette (the white pill) 24 hours after. 4 pills as my first dose then 4 pills 12 hours after. will i still get pregnant? thank you.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy not likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The bleeding that started 7 days after stopping the Diane 35 was a withdrawal bleeding. The ovulation is not likely to happen while you are bleeding as this causes a disturbance in the normal hormonal balance of the cycle.
Secondly you took 4 pills of nordette within 24 hours of the unprotected sex. This gives you more than 98% protection against the pregnancy.
Since you have taken the high dose hormonal pills for emergency contraception you may again get a withdrawal bleeding after a few days.
Your next period is likely to be delayed by 7-10 days as a side effect of the hormonal pills taken. Please do not worry. Pregnancy is extremely unlikely.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
