What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain Without Menstruation After Taking I-pill?
Question: hi doctor
need your help ..
last period was on 2 or 3rd Dec-14.
sex was on 7th dec.. took ipill on 8th and after that there was again blood flow .
sex was on 13 and 14th dec and took 2 ipill ..
now period is getting delayed .
2 prega test done ... one in the afternoon around 4 which was negative and second early morning which was also negative ( test was done on 3rd and 4th XXXXXXX -15)
abdominal pain is coming but no peirod ..
kindly suggest pls ....

took a prega test yesterday afternoon and today early morning and both are negative .. how accurate are these test ?
also you have asked to wait for a week .. so is the time period safe ( if atall anything goes wrong ) for termination ...
is there any other ways of confirmation of this negative test ..

Plus you have done multiple times so accuracy is even more.
If you want confirmation, get a bHCG test which is a blood test and accurate.
There are no ontoward side effects in the waiting period even if you are pregnant.

Effect of ipill can last for a couple of months and thus you can have irregular periods.
Your periods will come in a week or so probably but if you are really nervous then take tablet norethisterone 5 mg thrice a day for 3 days and then you will get periods in 2-5 days after leaving the medicines.

actually received your email late on friday .. so took MP FORTE 2tablets twice from friday to sunday ...
this morning felt like i was having it but did not .
there is no cramping or pain what so ever which i generally feel before getting my period ..
really nervous .
can i take the medicine u have mentioned from today ?
also like to know how safe is medical terminination ( if at all needed) during this week or next week ?

Feeling bit nervous and sorry for bothering you again and again ..
Just want to go back to all the series of event ..
• Last period was on 2 or 3rd Dec-14
• Sex was on 6th night and ipill taken on 7th Morning
• After that there was bleeding on 9th and 10th Dec-14
• Sex was on 14th Dec-14 Afternoon and ipill taken in the evening only
• Sex was on 15th Dec-14 Night and ipill taken on 16th Dec -14 Morning only .
• 17 and 18th there was little bit of blood in urine and pain in the stomach ..showed doctor and was suggested infection and took medicine for that .
• On 1st Jan-15 had complete protected Sex
• Prega test done on
1. 3rd jan-15 in the afternoon negative
2. 4th jan-15 early morning negative
3. 6th XXXXXXX -15 afternoon negative
4. 7th XXXXXXX -15 early morning negative
5. 13th XXXXXXX -15 early morning sample negative
• In between took M.P FORTE tablet ( 2 tablets 2 times /day from 9th Jan-15 to 12th Jan-15)
• Periodic Pain is felt in-between these days.
• No other medication taken
Kindly suggest if there is anything to be worried because as a lay man period is delayed by almost 10 days .
Any medicine should you advice …

But best will be to take tablet norethisterone 5 mg thrice a day for three days as told you earlier and you will get your periods soon after leaving the pills.
I know its difficult for you to wait this long but there is no other easier alternative tgan this.
