Brief Answer:
You probably had a tear in your vaginal especially if the sex was rough!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this spotting you have reported. I have reviewed your information fully and you probably sustained a minor tear during this encounter. For now, monitor only. Put on protective pant liners and monitor only. This will subside spontaneous. Please, do not regularly try to do vaginal douche as this will prevent the tear from healing faster. Do you feel any slight pain in the vaginal as well?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

I have no other pain in the vaginal area. I did have a few cramps associated with the bleeding the first couple of days. The possibility of pregnancy is less than 1% correct?

Brief Answer:
Risk of pregnancy is almost zero!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Pregnancy is almost impossible using a double contraceptive measure: Condoms and Mirena IUD. Do not worry about pregnancy, not even at this time.

I wish you well and keep me updated.

Could it be spotting from ovulating? I had my period December 30-January 5.

Brief Answer:
No!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Ovulation occurs 14days after the start of menses. It wouldn't have been possible on the 8th. Just stay calm and am confident this spotting will get resolved spontaneously.

I wish you well.
