What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During 5th Week Of Pregnancy?

Question: I am 5.5 weeks pregnant. I am having light bleeding for 5 days it is pink when wipe after a wee, also need to use a pantyliner. I am so worried my pregnancy is going to end. Do you see this be the case or can I have positive news. I went to emergency unit. They did an internal and said cervix was closed which is a good sign. They said to go back if bleeding gets heavy or I get pain. I have no pain. Ultrasound said everything is developing I have the gestational sac though irregular shape with a yolk and a very tiny baby. No heartbeat at the moment said it is too soon. Am I going to have a miscarriage? If so will I miscarry again if I try again but I am hoping to have a successful pregnancy do you see that possible

Irregular gestational sac can be suggestive of miscarriage, however at this gestation, it is too early to conclude anything.
It is better to wait for a repeat scan after 10 days to assess the fetal cardiac activity and hence the fate of pregnancy.

It can be miscarriage as the bleeding is continuous.
Do you have any pregnancy symptoms like nausea, vomiting, dizziness?
Is there any associated pain in abdomen?
If there are no pregnancy symptoms, then miscarriage can be there.
You should go to the ER if the bleeding is heavy.

I have sore breasts and feel very sick. Also this morning started with diarrhoea but bleeding completely stopped now for 12 hours

I am.also a little dizzy. Bleeding never been heavy just light pink

So, it is a good sign.
