Question : I had a colposcopy done today and i bleed now like my period. Is this normal also it hurts some ?

Not common to bleed

Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
If it was just a simple colposcopy then it is not normal to bleed but if they they have taken a biopsy for analysis then mild bleeding is common.
But in case you bleed more than one pad a day then visit your gynecologist for examination.
Avoid sexual activity or douching and in case she has given antibiotics and painkillers then take it as advised without a miss.
