Question : hello doctor,
i had sex with my wife on 11th of july and she took i pill on 13th of july . now she is having discharge from vegina and also feeling something heavy in the stomach. her last date was from 1-3 july . are these the sign of pragnancy ?? and what kind of medicince can be taken now to avoid it.

Negligible risk of pregnancy

Hello Mr. XXXXXXX thanks for trusting health care magic.
This discharge is most likely a side effect of ipill which has high dose progesterone and thus commonly causes these symptoms.
Moreover right now all you can do is to wait for her periods and in case she misses them then do a urine pregnancy test.
But most probably there is no such risk as she took emergency pill well within stipulated time.

thank u doc , i want to add one more thing we were sexualy active and again on 15th of july she took one more i pill . Now she is complainig about the discharge from vegina from 17th of july and also something heavy in stomach. are these the effect of I pill or are these the symptoms of pragnancy.?? because its already 6 days after she took the pill can u suggest some medicine to avoid this ..

Effect of ipill

Detailed Answer:
Yes sir, these are all due to ipill and most likely not due to pregnancy.
Repeated intake of ipill commonly results in such symptoms and thus is best avoided.
Right now she can take tablet buscopan and she will feel good.
Ipill can cause deranged periods and thus she can have periods earlier than previous expected date so make her mind accordingly.
In future either have protected sex or ask her to start oral contraceptive pills otherwise this over the counter repeated use of ipill can cause bad effects like
- deranged periods
- erratic ovulation
- tubal ectopic pregnancy.
Ectopic pregnancy is common because uterus becomes unavailable for implantation because of the effect of ipill on lining of uterus.
So act smart and feel safe.

Thank U very much doc, i am sorry but i have one more query as she was complaining that she can not sit properly and not even walk properly ... is all these side effect of I pill or something else. and what kind of food should be intake to make all these things comfortable .. please suggest

Yes this is due to the theramogenic effect of progesterone which is present in high dose in ipill.
For these pains give her simple paracetamol or combiflam tablet and she will be fine.
In general give her warm liquids like hot milk or tea or coffee.
Even hot fomentation with hot water bottle will help her lots.
