Question : I'm having vaginal pain or at least I think that is the problem. I'm having to go to the bathroom ALOT and when I do I hardly pee at all. I can't really tell if it burns or just hurts. I also hurt when I'm not at the bathroom. I don't think I show any signs of yeast infection. I have done a round of antibiotics and a round of AZO because I thought it might be urinary tract infection. I will feel better for a couple of day and then right back to feeling like crap.
Brief Answer:
a urinalysis may help
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
your symptoms make a urinary tract infection more likely but a urinalysis and urine culture will help to clarify this issue. Vaginitis should have symptoms like itchiness, dyspareunia, burning pain in the vagina, discharge (sometimes malodorous).
If it's a urinary tract infection then an antibiogram might help with antibiotic choice, since the first antibiotic didn't work.
I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
