What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking An Abortion Pill?
Question: Hi,
I am a 24 year woman. I had an abortion by pills 2 months back. Post that I have gone through a lot of problems. I had some vaginal infection for which the doctor gave me canestan vaginal for 14 days but after using it for 3 days i noticed aome spotting. So the doctor suggested to stop using it. The infection was fine after that but my periods were quite late. Since, I did not hit my periods the doctor suggested me an ultrasound but the day i was about to go for it,I got my periods so I skipped the ultrasound. But now that my periods are over, the irritation in the vagina has started again. I think that infection has come back. Shall I re do the canestan vaginal course.?
Other than this I have an outburst of acne on my chest and back. What shall I do go get rid of the acne.? Please suggest.

It is possible that you have developed fungal infection. Use canesten vaginal pessary 100 mg daily for 7 days. If you do not see any improvement you need to consult doctor.
As regards acne, Consult Dermatologist. Based on the severity of acne, they will prescribe appropriate medicines.
Make sure you wash your face3-4 times a day and once at night. Avoid oily food. Avoid exposure to sun. Don't pluck on the acne as it may cause scars to form.
