Brief Answer:
You need ECG

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

On reading your query three things coming to my mind. Better diagnosis can be done after getting some tests done as described below.

The first one is that these symptoms are related to cervical spine. Maybe during surgery your cervical spine got hurt (unlikely) and resulted in development of these symptoms. Since you are describing neck pain I would suggest that you get X-ray neck, a CT scan and preferably MRI scan of cervical spine.

Secondly you are describing chest pain which should be evaluated with an ECG.

It can also be shallow respirations due to hypoventilation or even atelectasis. It will lead to high CO2 levels in blood which can give rise to similar symptoms. Get your air blood gas analysis done along with chest X-ray.

If the above tests come back normal I would think it to be migraine (your neurologists diagnosis) or anxiety.

Groin (inguinal) region is supplied by L1 and S3 dermatomes. Do you get lower back pain as well?

Was your surgery laparoscopic or abdominal. Abdominal type usually has more complications after surgery. Since it is happening after surgery, a USG abdomen and pelvis is warranted.

Thus you should be going back to your surgeon. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any doubts.
