Question: been having vibration like feeling in chest area upper stomach for a week or so think I'm having a heart attack no chest pain bp is good no shortness of breath I have acute heartburn and anxiety I've had 2 ekgs in the last three months they were normal

Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM,

I have read your query and also the previous queries you have posted.
Please go on a soft diet small quantity four hourly.
Exercise an hour a day.
See you get adequate sleep.

I think you should take a preparation of Omeprazole once a day in the evening, half an hour before dinner for three months.

Also you should do a 2D Echocardiography to rule out a condition called MVP.

Thirdly, you have rightly sensed that there is an element of anxiety. If the above medications and measures do not work, a mild medicine for anxiety may be tried.
