Brief Answer:
Reduce Pentoxifylline

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr Divakara P
Thanks for posting your query.

Well both of the medicine can cause vomiting but among the two Pentoxyfylline is more likely to cause Vomiting.

She can take the tablets in half dose along with anti vomiting medicine like Emeset for few days and if she tolerates the half dose then after a week she can start taking full dose.

Continue same dose methylcobalamin.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.

Hi Doctor,

Thanks a lot for your reply. She started taking zinetac before the medicines and is much better now. But from today she has started to feel a little pain while urinating. What can be the cause of that?
Do any of these medicines can lead to urological effects?

Thanks and Regards,

Brief Answer:
Its due to dehydration.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for the follow up.

No neither of the drug can cause pain while urinating. It could be either due to dehydration or urine infection.

Possibility of dehydration is high as she had vomiting and because of that she might have lost fluid and also intake of fluid was reduced.

I recommend her to drink plenty of water and tender coconut water and if in case pain persists even after 2 days then get a Urine routine test to check for Urine infection.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any further help feel free to ask.

Regards.
