Brief Answer:
Yes she may need chemo

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

I am sorry to hear about your mother. It is indeed a difficult disease. Her CA 125 is increasing and she is having symptoms also. But what does the CT scans show?

If the disease is stable, not increasing on serial CT scans then we can observe. Otherwise she will need further chemo. Pain is not the only criteria.

You should consult a medical oncologist. If you can send me her exact location, I can refer appropriately.

Hope this helps. I will be available for followup.
Regards

Brief Answer:
this is within normal

Detailed Answer:
But as she is having lot of symptoms, suggest to get CT scan done.

If that is also near normal, then only supportive medicines for acidity and vomiting. Maybe a Gastro consult.

Brief Answer:
needs removal of fluid

Detailed Answer:
After fluid removal she needs supportive medicines for vomiting and maybe some other chemo to control the fluid.

Oral or intravenous albumin supplements to replace that lost in fluid removal.
