Question : My son (20 years old) has been on antibiotics but tonight after taking one he has had vomiting and pain in his stomach. His stomach feels hard and seized up .

What should we do to help?

For now, there is no emergency and I will not want to see you panic. Observe him again before seeking further medical attention. For the pains, administer omeprazole 20mg once daily as this may be related to gastric irritation. All should be well within 12hours at most.
