Brief Answer:
Looks like gastritis probably due to Viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

Usually vomiting at this age lasting for 5 days is probably as a result of viral infection.

Is he active?
Are there any other symptoms like diarrhoea or fever?
What is the colour of the vomitus, is it greenish?

If the child is active and vomiting is not greenish it is probably a viral bug which should settle soon.
Allergies and worms can cause too.
Try Deworming with Albendazole.
Restrict milk to see if it helps.

Ensure plenty of oral liquids including oral rehydration solutions.

Ensure urine output atleast 6 times a day.

Wishing your child good health.
Regards
Dr Arun
