Question : I have been vomiting and diarrhea for the past 4 hours. I also get some tingling in my hands, some quite intense. Right now I also feel chilled and am shivering despite being dressed warmly and in a warm house.

I am hoping to get an answer very quickly. Is that possible??

Brief Answer:
Electrolytes needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

The loss of vital water soluble vitamins and important electrolytes due to diarrhoea would be the most likely cause of your tingling and other symptoms.

You can take the oral rehydration salts mixed with clean water available over the counter hourly or several times a day depending on the number of diarrhoea episodes.

Also, get medical help if symptoms do not improve and are continuous. Antiemetics might be necessary to stop vomiting and rest the gut.

Meanwhile, go on fluid diet till this clears up. Grade to semisolid diet gradually before you fully get back to normal diet. Salt and sugar both mixed serve as alternative to oral salts.

Improve gut health with some good prescription of potent prebiotics.

Let me know if I have missed out any other concern in your question.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
