Question : My three year old daughter started taking Montair LC on doctors advice..tonight she is throwing up mostly mucuous
What should I do ?
Take her to the doc or wait

I have gone through your query carefully. It needs to be assessed whether your child's vomiting was due to the excess cough. If that is the case steam inhalation and resolution of the cough is needed. Proper fluid replenishment with ORS (oral rehydration solution) should be done. Unless this is done, it could lead to fluid and salt depletion. Please give some antiemetic like Ondansetron when needed.

If the child is otherwise active and passing adequate urine, you need not worry or take the child to a doctor. But if the child is not passing urine for several hours you need to take her to a doctor.
