Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The most commonest cause for vomiting in 9 weeks baby is Gastroesophageal reflux due to improper burping. Is the child burped well after every feeds?
The colour of stools of formula feed babies vary from yellow to green unlike typical yellow stools of exclusively breast feed babies.
There is no cause for concern if the following points are fulfilled
1. Baby accepting feeds well
3. Sleeps for 1 to 2 hours after every feeds
3. No excessive crying
4.no distension of abdomen
5. No redness in peri anal region
6. Gaining weight adequately

In case you require any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

I make sure I burp him 3-4 times during a feed but he still vomits. He does have pretty bad nappy rash, it will blister and bleed at times. He does not cry as much as he used to, maybe 2hours a day but he is very hyper and will only sleep for XXXXXXX 40mins between feeds.

Brief Answer:
Apply Himalaya diaper rash cream

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings

One of the reason why he cries is because of his nappy rash . I would suggest you the following which will definitely help
1. Give him bath twice a day , it will help remove stool residue which will be beneficial in management of diaper rash
2. Apply any of the following diaper rash cream

Himalaya Diaper rash cream
Sebamed Diaper rash cream XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX diaper rash.

I prefer Himalaya diaper rash cream
3. Change the diapers regularly: Clean it after urine as well as passing stools with baby wipes.
4. Always keep the area dry

Coming to the issue of vomiting, I would require additional information
1. Does the baby vomit the whole feeds or it is just little amount of curdled milk coming out?
2.Does he vomit after every feeds
3. Is he gaining weight adequately
4. Is his urine output adequate: Normally a 9 week child passes urine 6 to 8 times in a day

If the baby is vomiting small amount of curdled feeds it's likely to be only regurgitation. Feeding the baby in head up position or back supported with head up will be beneficial. If possible try to give breastfeeding.

Do get back to me with the detail so that I am able to assist you further.

Take care

Best Regards
Deepak
