Brief Answer: Most likely to be regurgitation Detailed Answer: Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day Dear Mr XXXXXXX Majority of the times the vomiting is due to regurgitation of curdled milk which occurs due to distension of stomach and inadequate burping. As you just mentioned your son vomited twice, if the following criteria are fulfilled there is no cause for concern 1. The Vomiting was not forceful, non bilious and contained curdled milk. Non forceful vomiting is usually due to regurgitation due to gastro-oesophageal reflux 2. Baby is accepting feeds well after vomiting 3. Child is playful and sleeps well after feeds 4. No excessive crying while passing Urine I would suggest you to properly Burp the child for 10 minutes everytime after each feeds, it will definitely prevent further vomiting. As there has been only 2 episodes of vomiting , you can definitely wait. Do write to me directly if you have any concern overnight, will be glad to be any help to you. I hope he will have no further vomiting. Take Care Best Regards Dr Deepak Kishore MBBS,MS,MCH Consultant Pediatric Surgeon
