Brief Answer:
Meralgia paresthetica should be considered as possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

If the distorted sensation is located at anterior part of your thigh, it could be related to a condition such meralgia paresthetica, or compression of the sensory nerve that supplies your thigh.

This is especially true if you are overweight and wear tight clothing.

If the distorted sensation is felt in deep, or between muscles, it could be related to fibromyalgia.

However, a medical evaluation by your primary care Doctor is needed to understand better your condition.

If meralgia paresthetica is confirmed, loosing weight, wearing loose clothing, no belt at all, and use of antineuralgic drugs such Gabapentin should help improve your symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
