Brief Answer:
Viral gastrointestinal infection

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, you are doing right by following BRAT diet and drinking plenty of fluids. since the diarrhea is improving you can start eating soft regular diet but keep away from fatty and spicy foods..it seems that you have caught a viral gastrointestinal infection. viral infections are usually self limited and resolve on their own. To help resolve faster, you can use imoduim twice daily to stop the diarrhea and visceralgine 3 times daily for the cramps .. I hope I answered your question.
