Question : I was peeing nomally, when all of a sudden the flow got weak, seemed obstucted and sprayed sidewise in a weak stream. It seemed to be located near the opening, but I couldn't see anything when I tried to examine myself. A couple hours later, I again was able to pee normally, and then it seemed like something came in and blocked the passage, again near the opening.

Thanks for the query. The symptoms may be related to an urethral stricture, meaning a partial obstruction of the urinary canal, perhaps by scar tissue or a lesion. If it keeps on being recurrent, the best course of action is scheduling an appointment with an urologist for a cystoscopy (camera to look at the urinary canal directly).
