What Causes Weakness And Shortness Of Breath?
Question: My potassium was 5.4 last week and doctor said labs were mostly ok but I needed to repeat potassium and check blood pressies. Had labs done thurs. 7_7_16. Nurse called. On 7_8_16 with message "it's not urgent but you need to call about labs". She never called back!! . I've had pneumonia for about two months. I am weak and get severly short of breath with just a little activity. I've had four strokes two were infractions to right occipital and two pulmonary embolism. Then in 2009 after much suffering trying to get doctors to believe me. A 90 per cent blockage in main left artery was found and a stent was put in. Can you please help me? A cat scan on thurs. 7_7_16 showed there is still a lot pneumonia in right lobe of lung. Also I was in hospital about XXXXXXX 28 to XXXXXXX 30.with chest pain shortness of bteath and severe diarrhea of black stools the night before and severe pain around left side under ribs around to back and some right side pain. Stress test cleared me.and on that Friday polyps were removed from my stomach and biopsies done from swollen lining of stomach. They were clear and no H pylori was found.

IN the given situation, You seems to be having-Mild hyperkalemia.
Dear you have not given any info on your age/sex and other information of the current medicines/ body weight/ daily Urine output / diuretic medicines for ?high Blood pressure / and your diet contents and its day's schedule/ Histo-path report of ? Stomach Polyp-?Gastric/Colonic?.
In such a scenario,I would need more details on above facts,before suggesting on any suggestions on such a sensitive issue of Potassium levels-which are marginally high-with Mild Hyperkalemia.

The recent H.Pylori tests seem to be Normal and this would raise anxiety to investigate the interanl hemorrahge,which caused black tarry diarrhoea you had on end of XXXXXXX before 28th.
