Question : hi the bones in my lower legs seem to be getting more and more sensitive. For example, if I get a "foot massage" I can hardly stand to have the person massage my lower legs. It's not my calves--its the actual bones, both legs--seems like more the inside than the outside. I am not exercising so that is not the cause--no over-use issues. I also seem to be really tired--I seem to need a nap around 3 most days.

Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Madam, Thank you for posting your query on HCM. Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it is very difficult to comment on your problem but it can be a metabolic cause . I will advise you to get calcium , vitamin D and vitamin B 12 levels . Their deficiency can some time lead to such symptoms specially fatigue . Next I will advise you to start a multivitamin tablet ( B complex) once daily because their deficiency may give rise to restless legs . A CPK levels is also advisable to look for muscles involvement . It will not be possible to give you a diagnosis straightaway but still we have discussed the options . Take care. Dr. Shruti
