Question : Am 88 yrs old and recently I tend to fall forward when I bend over at the hips. Also when I kneel down weeding in the garden I tend to pitch forward and find it very hard to stand up straight as my knees become very wobbly!!

Based on the symptoms it could be because of neuropathy and it has many causes,commonest being diabetes. Do you have that?The other common cause is vitamin B12 and D deficiency.

Thanks for your reply. I do not have diabetes according to my blood test taken earlier this month. I take a Vit D tablet monthly and will pursue the B12 suggestion. I saw my doctor yesterday who suggested taking up Tai Che, so will follow this up asap.
