probable nutritional deficiency; take mutivitamin supplements and good diet
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
In Twin pregnancy, the body's nutritional demand are almost double as compared to singleton pregnancy.
So the post-delivery period would also require more nutritional supplements for body's replenishment.
The symptoms which you are experiencing, like weakness in legs and back, are most probably due to nutritional deficiency (like vitamins and minerals).
Also, the stress of parenting and breast-feeding can additionally cause these symptoms.
I have some suggestions for you:
1. Take multivitamin supplements which should include vitamins (B-complex, E) and minerals (iron, calcium).
2. Take healthy diet which should include a glass of milk atleast three times a day and fruits and green vegetables.
3. Avoid tea, coffee and heavy weight-lifting.
4. Practice relaxation exercises like slow and deep breathing and meditation.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Kindly close the discussion if you have no more queries.
I wish you good health.
Thanks.
Dr. Nidhi Setia.
