Brief Answer:
yes, it is safe to consume whey protein

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

The weakness in your legs could be due to excessive strain on the leg muscles while you are working out, or it could be because of Calcium or Vitamin D deficiency. For this, I would suggest you to check your calcium and Vitamin D levels.

Please continue your workouts and healthy dieting as well.

Yes, you can start drinking whey protein to boost your muscles. You can take any type of whey protein that are commercially available. The one your friend has suggested is good too.

Try the MFF whey protein brand, it has good consumer reviews.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,
