Question : Since taking a blood thinner for a month now because a routine pacemaker check indicated that for the previous 3 days I am in Afib I experience weakness in my legs, easily get winded, and immediately after eating any meal I get extremely fatigued and sometimes a headache. My cardiologist says none of these things could be caused by the blood thinner. For the record I've had the pacemaker 13 years because my heart rate tended to spike up and down. Is my doctor correct?

Xarelto 20mg
Brief Answer:
Uncommon side effects of Xarelto!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
These are uncommon side effects of the Xarelto you are taking. This usually gets better a few weeks after starting treatment. Because this is an important drug, I suggest that you continue. However, we would consider stopping if the side effects persist beyond a month.
