I also experienced a jaw pain in the upper right, while it did not feel like tooth problem, it was persistent for the rest of the day! It almost felt like a muscle spasm. Every time I yawned I could feel it. I wasn't sure if I need to see a dentist or my doctor. But it's the weekend and neither one are available.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
You have rightly observed and noted that your symptoms are not related to the dental problem.
This looks to be an infection of the sinuses which has spread to ear. The jaw pain in the upper right can be a referred pain due to sinus infection or the contagious infection in this part causing feeling of muscle spasm.
The infection is causing the general symptoms of weakness, fever and joint pain.
I would advise you to visit your Doctor and get a course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines, nasal decongestant drops and supportive medicines. You may please continue the Robitussin thrice daily with a gap of 8 hours for it to be effective.
Also take steam inhalations, bed rest, warm liquids. Avoid blowing of the nose.
Wishing you an early and complete recovery.
