Question : My son is 23 and had to have his tonsils removed becasue ONE was the size of a walnut and the other was normal. They are sendind it for a biopsy. He has been home for over six hours and feels fine but welts are starting to evolve on his chest. No itching, no other symtoms just welts... is this OK?

They look like scratches almost

Based on your description, it appears to be a drug reaction. The area needs to be examined and the possible offending medication should be stopped. These reactions can occur with almost all meds but antibiotics are the most common culprits.
