What Causes White Coating On The Tongue?

Question: I have a coating on my tongue and my teeth...it reappears after brushing my teeth. I take asthma medicine; could it be thrush? How can I fix it? Thank you!

This is probably oral thrush
Use hexidine mouth wash and candid mouth paint 3 to 4 times a day for a week.
Brush twice daily and clean your tongue with a tongue Cleaner.
All the medicines I prescribed are available only on prescription.
