Question : Hey doctor,

I have noticed that the top layer of my tounge is all white, I have attached an image as well. Why would this be and how can I remedy this would it be worth going to a doctor or dentist about?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached image. You need to have oral candidiasis. Such a thing can occur due to low immunity. Applying Candid mouth gel (clotrimazole) should help. If that does not suffice, you would need to visit a doctor.
