I am XXXX. My Question is skin related.After shaving my skin gets white colourd pilled-off skin like dandruff.Only after i get this problem. My hairs are too dry & have dandruff.
Can u suggest any medication.

Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have understood your concern.
Shaving can leave behind skin visibly dry, scaly and irritated.
This is because the ingredients present in shaving cream/ foam/ gel can suck out all the moisture from skin leaving it dry. Aftershave products can cause further skin dryness as they often contain astringents like alcohol Or witch XXXXXXX etc.
I suggest you to moisturize your skin with an emollient e.g Elovera cream Or Emolene cream for 15-30 minutes prior to shaving.
After shaving you may again use a moisturising cream to rehydrate your skin.
Regarding dandruff I suggest you to try an OTC antidandruff shampoo e.g Nizoral shampoo which contains 1% Ketoconazole in a lotion base. A prescription antidandruff shampoo e.g Nizral shampoo however contains 2% ketoconazole.
You may latter the shampoo well onto wet scalp and massage it into the scalp skin with the help of fingers. Allow it to act for 5-7 minutes before rinsing it off with water.
Dry and frizzy hair require that you use a good conditioner e.g either L'Oreal Or Dove conditioner on wet hair, immediately after shampooing and rinse it off well after 2-3 minutes.
