Question : I have white skin build up on the inner lip and the inside of my cheeks. It seems as though I have to either chew it away or pick up to remove. My doctor is requesting a biopsy but in the mean time has prescribed Dexamethason to see if helps. Should I be concerned about oral cancer?

So a white skin formation in mouth is known as leucoplakia. For the fear of cancer, it should be biopsied as it is a premalignant condition or early stage. If at all, any cancer detected, it can be cured completely.
