Question : I noticed a couple of white spots in my throat. There are present for about 3 days. One to the left of my uvula on the palstoglossal arch and the other one on the left tonsil. I had a large tonsil stone in the right tonsil that fell out yesrerday. I don't have sore throat or fever. What is causing these spots?
Brief Answer:
You may be having keratosis pharyngis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
From the picture you have sent it looks like you may be having a condition called as keratosis pharyngis in the early stage.
The cause for this condition is unknown and most patients are asymptomatic. No treatment is required for most of the patients
However you can gargle with warm salt water two to three times a day. Most of the time the spots will disappear in a few weeks.
Please don't worry
Take care
