Question : I took amneal and I have been taking this for a long time but right now I am itching all over my body, looks like a rash! Why?

It can be due to any cause like insect bite, dust, food, medicine, etc As you have been taking medicine for a long time so it could be due to other causes. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- cetirizine one at night for 5 days
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.
Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if conditions remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.

Could high dosage of this medication ( amneal 800/160mg) cause allergic reaction? Because in the past I have taken this medication and I have never gotten any allergic reactions. What are some things I can use to smooth the itch? ( as of right now, I am applying "medic, clear anti-itch lotion"?
