Brief Answer:
can give general information

Detailed Answer:
cannot say in your particular case without actually being there.
And, first, pain on both sides is pretty uncommon. The nerves go only to ONE side. This would imply something OUTSIDE of the nervous system if it occurs on both sides of the face.
Hearing one's heartbeat is not necessarily abnormal. If there were a problem with it, it would be mroe likely to be the ear than the heart (especially if it were one side). Certainly congestion around an ear increases a perception of internal and lowers perception of externals.
An infection of the sinuses can cause pain the face and congestion in the ears. This is easily confirmed on exam but cannot be said for descriptions in text that are wtihout an exam.
