Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are likely to be having osteoarthritis of Carpometacarpal joint as it is common in your age. It is confirmed by x ray of wrist and hand. You are likely to get benefitted by analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Glucosamine is likely to be beneficial.
Second possibility is tendinitis. It is diagnosed by clinical examination. It's treatment is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Local triamcilone injection may be useful.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
