Brief Answer:
Many causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.

Yellow discoloration can happen for many reasons like tea, coffee, chocolates, inadequate brushing, too much rinsing with mouth wash, smoking, tobacco use, etc. So there are many causes of it and we need to avoid them.

Plaque removal by a dentist may help to some extent, but it tends to come back. There are teeth whitening strips available that can also be tried. These are all temporary measures and should not be used very often to avoid sensitive teeth. Once in 1-2 years it can be done.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
