Brief Answer:
You should not wait it out

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your description , it appears to be a bacterial infection with worsening symptoms. Most likely you would require antibiotics as OTC medication alone wont work in sinusitis and upper respiratory tract bacterial infections. Decongestants and antihistamines along with steam inhalation should be advised in addition to the antibiotics. You should go to your doctor, preferably an ENT specialist.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
