Question : Hi, i just noticed that my palm is yellowish in color and so my sole..i have done my test sgpt, sgot ang hbsag test..also, ultrasound of the hepatobiliary tract..and thanks God all my laboratory results were normal...i also ate 1 whole papaya in a day or sometimes half of it for almost 2 months now and some vegies..i would like to ask if this yellowish color is from the the fruits and vegies that i have eaten? Thank you

Thanks for the query
SGOT and SGPT does not indicate the level of bilirubin. I strongly suggest you to get your total bilirubin.
One other reason for your palm to looks yellowish could be because of low hemoglobin. Please get your hemoglobin checked as well.
Fruits and Veggies does not usually cause discolouration of skin. However literature mentions change of skin colour to orange after eating large quantities of carrots.
