Question : I have a spot on the ball of my foot that has a "water blister" look to it. It is about 1.5" by 2". It does not hurt, but seems to be leaking a little and is very soft. I am not sure what this is or may be.

Brief Answer:
blister over sole. guidelines provided.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have read your query with attached photograph.

* The condition is due to blister formation involving distal half of sole.

* Primary guidelines at present

- Immerse the foot in lukewarm water added epsom salt 5 minutes each 2 times
a day.
- Apply polymycin cream 2 times a day.
- Wear soft slipper with cushion to avoid direct pressure over the part.
- Avoid fit shoes, walking barefoot or any self manipulation with needle or pin.

- As there is no redness, I do not recommend antibiotics or anti inflammatory
drugs at present.
- Let me know if you have diabetes.

* Follow up after 24 hours or early as per the requirement.

Wish you fine recovery.
Regards take care.
